The medical industry is one of the biggest we work with. Companies use our glass parts in developing new products as well as testing or modification of existing medical products. We provide glassware that clearly showcases their invention in addition to demonstrating of how the medical device works within the body. One of the items we produce is glass arteries. These are used for designing and testing of stents as well as training doctors on how to deployment of the stents.
Additionally, we work with the manufacturing and reliability testing of other products. For example, we work with the manufacturing and testing of catheters, as well as producing capture tubes. We also make glass products for blood analysis and particulate testing to ensure that devices do not induce contaminants into the body.
Rubidium Time Clock
The Rubidium clock is a frequency standard. It is the most inexpensive, compact, and widely produced atomic clock. It is used to control the frequency of television stations, cell phone antennas, test equipment, and GPS systems. Rubidium clocks are not as accurate as the Caesium atomic clocks, which is the primary frequency standards but is the secondary frequency standard.

Pyrex is a durable, thermally resistant, non-expansion glass. Unlike other glass types, Pyrex goes through a different tempering method making it 4-6 times stronger than regular glass products. This enables it to withstand sudden temperature changes or temperature shock. The borosilicate glass that makes up Pyrex is resistant to physical damage which is why it is the choice for laboratory glassware (test tubes, beakers, etc), kitchenware, laser industries, etc.
Quartz is the most abundant mineral found on the Earth’s surface. Forming at all temperatures and resistant to both chemical and mechanical weathering, it is one of the most useful natural substances. Its ability to withstand temperatures and that it is chemically inactive when in contact with most substances makes it valuable for many industries. It is used for windows to lab glass, fiber optics, and communication industries.
A precise glass to metal seal requires a chemical bond or for the glass to be placed in compression or both. Chemical seals create a much stronger bond than a mechanical seal. The thermal expansion of the glass and metal must be closely matched, so the seal remains solid as it cools. As it cools, one should not shrink more than another. There are numerous applications for these products, and we can customize a vacuum-tight seal using high-quality precision for whatever need you may have. These seals are airtight and watertight. The benefit of glass to metal seals is the ability to bolt the metal down to another part.
For equipment and applications that require precise accuracy, precision boring is used. Boring is the process of enlarging a hole to achieve greater accuracy. We work with different glass types and can produce, design, and shrink to exact specifications.
